Our Dogs

Our dogs are first and foremost, our own beloved pets. They are lovingly cared for and receive regular care from our local veterinarian. Our doodles share our home with us. They do not live in kennels, but enjoy daily exercise, exploration, and fun on our 50-acre ranch. Our sweeties may not always be perfectly manicured, but they are happy and healthy and that’s more important to us.

Goldendoodles come from two lines of dogs, retrievers and poodles, that were specifically bred to help hunters retrieve birds from the water. As a result, most goldendoodles LOVE water and ours are no exception. They love to romp in our ponds and often return to our home muddy and ready for a nap!

Our parent dogs are fully health-tested to ensure their puppies are prepared to live a long, happy, and healthy life. All our dogs are genetically tested to rule out 230+ health risks. If that checks out well, they are then certified by OFA for cardiac, eyes, hips, patellas, and elbows. Any dogs who do not meet our standards are removed from our breeding program and are considered pets only. We carefully match our breeding pairs to complement one another and we never line breed. All these breeding practices are in place to provide you with the healthiest pup possible. We rule out as many risk factors as current science allows.
