Service Dogs
Goldendoodles can be excellent service, therapy, or facility dogs. They are intelligent, people-oriented, loving, and attentive. Since our puppies are 75% poodle and do not shed, they are not likely to trigger allergies when you need to take your dog to a public place.
PLEASE NOTE: An emotional support pet is not considered a service dog. Service dogs require extensive training. Please read this article from AKC to learn more about the various ways dogs assist people.
We understand that service dogs are a significant investment of time, money, and emotion. Therefore, we offer discounts for puppies purchased as service dogs provided that you supply us with documentation that a service dog is medically necessary and that you have established a connection to a trainer with experience in training service dogs. We do not provide service dog training nor temperament testing. If your trainer wants to meet and assess the puppies, we can work with you on that. Please contact us via the form at the bottom of this page for more information.
Meet Mabel
Mabel is a medium goldendoodle from Rosie & Raisin. She is currently serving as a diabetic alert dog for a young man with type 1 diabetes. She goes to school and sports with him to alert him when his blood sugars are moving out of range. Mabel has even alerted one of his teachers! She is a great family dog and a big hit with all the kids at school.
When his owner graduated from 8th grade, Mabel was given an honorary diploma and praised for the joy she brings to all who meet her.
Meet Oakley
Oakley is a medium goldendoodle from Rosie & Raisin. He is in training as a therapy dog to assist inmates with transitioning to life outside of prison without relapsing. A canine companion helps to teach empathy and responsibility in a friendly and non-threatening environment full of the unconditional affection only dogs can bring.
His handler/trainer/owner told us, “The last class absolutely adored & loved him & he enjoyed them just the same. When he goes to class, he basically greets everyone by coming up to them and they all give them a hug or pet him and he does this every class. He brings the inmates & staff so much joy & comfort. We absolutely love him. He’s utterly spoiled by all who meet him.”
